Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices remained stable on the week amid mixed fundamentals, with producers reporting stable to higher offer levels, while support from upstream styrene slid further on the week. ABS CFR China and CFR Southeast Asia were both unchanged on the week of July 24, at $1,445/mt et $1,465/mt. Input costs for Asian ABS decreased, and both acrylonitrile monomer and styrene closed lower over the week. Feedstock costs dropped $11/mt according to calculations. Butadiene was unchanged week-on-week at $1,560/mt F.E.A.R. China on July 24 while acrylonitrile dropped $10/mt, to $1,235/mt, as of the last assessment, made on July 23.
