In the week leading up to October 30, the South Asian polyethylene markets were stable due to the low trade volume caused by Diwali. Sources said that the market fundamentals were unchanged during the week with a slowing demand in India and a stable supply. They said that despite a few slightly higher sales indications for Middle East cargo, bookings were minimal due to the current festivities in India.
