Zhejiang Xingxing eyes start-up of new MTBE plant

Zhejiang Xingxing New Energy is likely to start up its new Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) plant in Jiaxing. A source in China informed a team member, “The plant is expected to begin production by early October 2025, subject to the completion of necessary formalities. However, confirmation from an authorized source is still awaited.” Located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang in China, the plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
