Zagros Petrochemical brings No.2 methanol plant online

Zagros Petrochemical Company (ZPC) has restarted its No.2 methanol plant. A source in Iran informed a team member, “The plant has resumed operations around February 24, 2026. It was shut since December 16, 2025, owing to a shortage of natural gas.” Located in Asaluyeh, Iran, the No.2 methanol plant has a production capacity of 1.65 million mt/year.
