Xiang Lu Petrochemical resumes production at PTA plants

Xiang Lu Petrochemical has restarted its Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plants in Zhangzhou. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at its plants around September 25, 2025 following a turnaround. The plants had been shut for maintenance since around June 23, 2025. Verification from an authorized source could not be obtained.” Located in Zhangzhou, Fujian in China, the PTA plants have a production capacity of 4.5 million mt/year.
