- WTI, and RBOB settle lower on- FOB pays 20 cents premium to DDP



The spot prices of US Gulf Coast benzene
fell on Aug. 15, despite tight supply. August 15th saw crude oil futures fall due to Iran's
apparent willingness to reach a new nuclear agreement with the EU and US, as
well as the news that the Chinese have released their weakest refinery output
report since the outbreak of the pandemic. NYMEX September WTI fell $2.68-3.50/b, to $89.41-95.25/b --
below the $90/b threshold -- while ICE October Brent dropped $3.05, to $95.10-100.50/b. NYMEX September RBOB gasoline dropped 9.43 cents, to settle
at $2.9517-3.500/gal. September ULSD fell 7.75cents to settle at $3.4403/gal. According to one source, 100,000 mt of benzene would be
shipped from Asia to the US in August. Another
