The spot US homopolymer injection
polypropylene price was unchanged for the day, and $55/mt lower on the week
ending Aug. 31. This is despite a lack of market activity and a continued low
level of demand. Based on spot export price
indications for that range in the week ending August 31, PP was $1,268-1,290/mt
FAS Houston or 52-53 Cents/lb railcar basis. The Aug. 31
level of assessment is the lowest since Nov. 30, The
Co-polymer price for PP was also $55/mt lower on Aug. 31, at $1,334-1,356/mt
FAS Houston. These is 55-56c/lb rail cars. However, the homopolymer grade
remains 3-cents higher than the copolymer. To cover
