Wanhua Chemical halts operations at Acrylic acid plant

Wanhua Chemical has shut down its acrylic acid (AA) plant in Yantai. A source in China informed a team member, "The company has taken the plant offstream in end December 2025, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained." Located in Yantai, Shandong province of China, the plant has a production capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
