deals have been concluded- Chinese VAM prices plunge on
bearish PVOH, VAE fundamentals





AA: Asian Acetic Acid prices fell due to
weak fundamentals in the vinyl monomer and ethyl Acetate sectors. East China's domestic prices were Yuan 100/mt less
than the previous week at Yuan 3300 –3,450/mt –tank. According to market sources, ethyl
and butyl Acetate demand in China, India, and Southeast Asia was low due to
rising inflation. The week ended on August 4th and saw a rise in
liquidity. There were a few offers at $550-580/mt. CFR South Asia, and buying
indications at $510 -$520/mt. CFR South Asia. Chinese -origin cargoes sellers
felt that $530 -$540/mt. CFR South Asia was at a tradeable level. However, few
