AA: Asian Acetic Acid prices rose in the
week ending Nov. 24, largely due to higher FOB China levels and stronger China
domestic pricing. China's
domestic prices for acetic acid were around Yuan 3,100-3.150/mt. This was up by
Yuan 100-150/mt during the week. A market
source shared that the FOB China price is equivalent to $385/mt if we refer to
domestic prices. According to some market
sources, there has been an increase in demand and a decrease in supply which
caused offer levels over the past week to rise. A producer offered to load cargo in December at 500/mt CFR

they rarely received offers below $480-490/mt because of discussions at higher
