AA: Asian Acetic Acid prices fell Nov. 17,
due to weak domestic demand and large inventories for the fourth consecutive
week. A trader stated that despite China
relaxing some COVID-19 regulations, [acetic acid] demand has not increased. The Coastal
AA stockpile was around 120,000 mt, which was not used by downstream industries. Similar
inventory pressure was observed in India's west coast, where stockpiles were
around 60,000-70,000mt. VAM: The Asian vinyl acetate monomer
(vinyl acetate) market saw very little trading activity during the week ending
Nov. 17. There were few spot cargoes available and no buying indications that
matched seller expectations. FOB China was still available at
$1,100-1,140/mt, CFR India at $1.100-2.120/mt, for end-November loading cargoes. It was not
