As tight supply worries lifted market sentiment,
Asian acetic acid prices rose in the week ending June 2. East China's acetic acid
prices rose by Yuan 200/mt during the week to Yuan 5,200-5,400/mt ex tank. A few trades helped to increase buyer interest. A few July-loading cargoes from China were sold at $730-760/mt and $740-780/mt CFR South Asia. Sources
said that the prices for June loading cargoes were higher at $795 to $800/mt
because only one or two producers had stock. VAM: Prices for Asian vinyl acetate monomers were stable
during the week ending June 2, despite thin trading. Sources say the selling price for VAM cargos was $2,300-2,335/mt
CFR South Asia. This is unchanged from the previous week...
