USPP: Low export prices due to volatility in feedstock

polypropylene level lower week on week February 8, because of challenging
fundamentals and contract prices rising double-digits following a higher
monthly settlement. The
week ending February 8th saw a drop in PP exports from 52-53 cents/ lb railcar
basis. Source feedback was positive. Market
players still agreed that very little resin was being exported from the US,
especially since PP resin of Asian origin is still competitive in key export
markets. A source stated that PP export
