$1,468/mt for the day of July 29, down $236/mt over the previous week. The prices remained in
line with the estimated production costs of producer styrene. Sources noted
that August's export buy interest was lower than the cost of producing styrene. September styrene was valued at $1,374/mt for the week of
July 29. This is down $121/mt from the previous week. The assessment was priced at the higher end, at
$1,350-1.375/mt for the day. Producers
pointed out that September variable costs were lower than August at current
