USGC MEG Week: Spot eases lower amid abundant supply■ There may be plants that are running at lower rates.

dropped by 1 cent over the week of July 29, to 22 cents/lb FBO USG. This is
based on a deal at 21 cents/lb in Mexico, and 26 cents/lb pricing for cargoes
between 1,000 and 2,000 mt to Latin America. Sources suggested that
integrated MEG plants may only produce contract volumes due to a lack of
ethane-based margins. However, no production changes were confirmed. One source claimed that some plants make only what they
