In California, the differentials for San Francisco and Los Angeles regular CARBOB rose slightly on July 17, while Portland premium values spiked from the last close. the differential for San CARBOB at futures plus 21 cents/gal, both rising 1 cent from the last close amid trades heard done at that level. CARBOB stocks increased 125,000 barrels to 4.771 million barrels in the partially reversing the prior week’s decline. Inventories remained below the 5-million-barrel threshold in the most recent reporting week, and despite the on-week build, stocks remained barrels to 4.773 million barrels in the week ended July 10, the CEC said.
