Scrap Plastic Exports Fall on Year: ITCIn the week ending Nov. 9, market activity
for recycled low-density plasticethylene in the US picked up slightly. Five orders will be
shipped by one seller in the Southeast this week for 120-160 lb. They said that three orders were for export, and two were
domestic. According to the seller,
although these export orders were only A-grade bales they would still struggle
to achieve domestic pricing levels. Sources
said that domestic pricing levels for A grade bales remained in the 5-cent
range depending on end-user. However, B-grade bales were at stable, similar
levels. According to the International
Trade Commission, US scrap plastic exports decreased year over year in
