US Recycled HPPE: Prices continue to fall■ Natural Markets down three cents per day■ WeakeningOn August 3rd, prices of US recycled high-density polyethylene experienced slight declines in natural markets. Prices for
mixed-color feedstocks also fell during the week.  natural pre-consumer HDPE
fell three cents per day and dropped to 45 cents/lb FOB Chicago, based on
material that was heard being purchased at the value assessed by MRFs. Mixed-color HDPE post-consumer bins were steady at 15
cents/lb on the same day. This was based on truckloads that were sold at
Nebraska MRFs' value. Natural recycled
HDPE pellets for blow molding applications, which were down three cents per
day, were also at 102c/lb. This is in line with similar falls in the upstream
