US PVC: Export prices fall $10 on

delays December offers until the week of Nov. 21US spot export polyvinyl chloride prices were assessed $10 lowerin
the week ending Nov. 16, based on lower pricing indications amidsoft
demand.Prices were assessed at $650-$660/mt FAS Houston. Theassessment includes
a base range of $630-$640/mt, with an additional$20 to cover higher drayage
trucking costs and storage costs forpackaged material in warehouses awaiting
export.The assessment does not include the costs of freight, insurance,
ormargins.A source said prices had been heard as low as $620/mt FAS, butthat
level was not corroborated as of Nov. 16.Market sources said Latin American PVC
demand was showingsome improvement, but buying appetite was muted amid
recessionfears. US logistics logjams also continued to stymie PVC...
