- US natural gases fall following an LNG export outage- The spot demand from PE is steady to ease



US ethylene prices fell further on June 14,
as lower gas prices put downwards pressure on spot levels. EDC trades for June were
heard at 28. 25c/lb and 28. 50c/lb for a July trade at 28. 25 cents/lb. Trades for
June 13 were heard at 29. 75 cents/lb. According to sources, the price drop could be attributed to
a decline in US natural gas futures prices following news that the Freeport LNG
export terminal in Texas would partially return in 90-days with a full return of
service expected in late 2022. Original
repairs were expected to take at most three weeks. The facility was shut down
