US HDPE : Film-grade export prices rise amid tight supply- Contract prices increased 3 cents/lb in all grades
following Jan settlement- Berry Global anticipates increased demand in H2 2023:
CEOSpot exports of high density polyethylene
continued to rise across grades, with market participants stating that supply
is still tight and logistics are improving. During the week of
February 8, price indications for rail cars of film-grade HDPE and
blowmolding-grade HDPE were heard at 38-40 and 40-44 cents/lb, respectively. During the same week, a price indication for rail cars was
heard at 39c/lb for HDPE injection. HDPE
injection and blowmolding were stable during the week of February 8, while
