The US spot export polypropylene price
remained unchanged on Nov. 16th for the third consecutive week. This is because
export opportunities and appetite are limited due to weak demand and minor
improvements in logistics. For
five cars or more, a deal was reached at 39 cents/lb railroad car basis or
$981/mt FAS Houston. According to a second
source, PP levels could have fallen but offers and deals below $980/mt were not
confirmed. The fourth quarter saw a lot of
stagnation in PP prices. Spot export PP fell less than 7% from Oct. 1 and the
