In the week ending Jan. 5, Asian oxo
alcohols markets were mixed. Buyers weren't active due to slow demand.
However, producers said they were suffering from cost pressures. After the Oct. restart, the seller stated that
he expected the market to bottom out due to inventory pressures. 24 ahead of
the schedule in early November, after it was closed Oct. 18 because of weak
demand. 24 ahead of the planned schedule in
early-November, after the plant was closed Oct. b> /b>18 due to low demand. The 100,000
mt/year dioctylphthalate (DOP), unit will be restarted only in H2 February.
