polyethylene market declined due to weakening demand and long supply. There
were very few transactions in the Turkish market because many buyers were
waiting to see where prices settled and only buying hand-to-mouth. The market's mood was
affected by negative macroeconomic conditions. Sources pointed out that high
inflation and a weaker Turkish Lira were the main reasons for the low buying
interest. A trader stated that there was
some business, but not much. He also said that people were concerned about the
