Trinseo eyes maintenance at MMA plant

Trinseo is likely to shut down its Methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Rho. A source in Italy informed a team member, “The company is planning to halt operations at the plant in August 2025 for maintenance. The plant is likely to remain off stream for around 4 weeks.” Located in Rho, Italy, the MMA plant has a production capacity of 90,000 mt/year.
