Asian paraxylene fell $23.75/mt to
$921.92/mt CFR unv1/China Nov. 28 and $901.92/mt FBO Korea Nov. 28. The January Brent crude oil futures dropped
$4.81/b to $81.10/b Nov. 28, while C&F Japan naphtha markers lost
$29.50/mt, dropping $669.50/mt. The downstream market saw a clear
downward trend in the two first sessions of trading for purified Terepthalic
Acid (or PTA) futures on China’s Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange. Futures fell
Yuan to Yuan 5058-5138/mt in afternoon
session, 80/mt or $9.69/mt Both the upstream and downstream
markets of Asian PX were affected. This dragged PX lower. During the
Market on Close (or MOC), Mercuria received bids for January and February from
SK Geocentric, while EMCAP and EMCAP submitted January Asia-origin bids to
