Asian Toluene: Prices drop amid falling crude oil- Taiwan's CPC tender was awarded
to three participants, sources- China inventory moves upAccording to industry sources, Asian
toluene prices remained stable to lower in November 18 due to the sharp
drop in crude futures. Sources added that GS Caltex Corp.
Eton Petrochemical Co., Integra Petrochemicals and Integra Petrochemicals were
deemed to be the best bidding parties. Sources
indicated that several parties involved were unable to comment. Sources said
that other levels were available within FOB Korea and $33-$35/mt. A trader
close to the matter stated that another buyer was in negotiations at 6,000
mt-9,000 mt per month. CPC granted the sale of toluene in its 2022
term tender. This was in addition to $21-$23/mt. Toluene inventories in
east China increased by 2,700mt to 56.200 mt from a week ago at 53.500 mt.
