Asian Toluene: Prices fall amid softer crude, lower trading interest / SE Asia demand weakens due to monsoon / Prices in China remain stable

On June 20, Asian toluene FOB Korea was $731/mt. This is down $5/mt from the previous day. The FOB China mark was $737/mt. This is down $3/mt. Trading interest in the FOB Korean market was lower than earlier sessions of the week. No transparent offers or bids were heard during the Market on Close process. The H2 July laycan was $731/mt below the previous offer of $732/mt. A trader from Southeast Asia stated that "Crude is down so the fair value for FOB Korea today is lower, around $730 to $732/mt." The domestic China market was also firm. The prompt ex-tank east China mark, assessed at Yuan 5,985/mt (up Yuan 5/mt from the previous session), remained unchanged.
