saw a rise in trading activity in Southeast Asia. On February 9, a trade was made for a parcel weighing 4,000
mt and was settled at $430/mt to $440/mt CFR Merak. A bid for a parcel weighing
3,000 mt for delivery in the second half of March was placed at $420/mt-$430/mt
CFR Merak. According to market sources,
March was a difficult month for regional supply due to maintenance work and
limited spot cargoes. Spot cargo
discussions were sporadic in China on February 9, with domestic prices falling
to Yuan 90-100/mt, and dropping to Yuan 2,790-2,800/mt Ex-tank. This was due to
lower crude oil prices, which made it difficult for China to discuss spot...
