The February benzene DDP prices rose 46
cents per week from Feb. 10, and forward-month pricing fell sharply as the
region's supply continued to tighten. The February DDP was 411 cents. This is an increase of 20
cents per day and 46 cents per week. This
is the highest front-month DDP level since Aug. 1, 2022. March DDP spread increased to 27 cents with March being
assessed at 384c/gal. March FOB was 389, a
significant premium to DDP. Sources
recently stated that higher FOB and timed delivery prices indicate the need to
ensure prompt delivery. This is why a
March 1-2 delivery bid was 405c/gal February 10, compared to 375c/gal bids for
delivery at any other time...
