Due to thin trade discussions, Asian
toluene prices rose on Dec. 15, with higher bids the day before the laycan
rollover. FOB Korea's bid increased by $30/mt
to $780/mt in the intraday. This was due to the Market on Close process for
January 2nd loading 2,000 mt ASTMD-841 cargo. An $820/mt offer was received for
the same cargo loading period. A broker predicted that the Korea
side doesn't have enough stock to sell at this time. They will use toluene to
produce their own toluene. Ship availability is extremely tight. A trader
stated that there was no vessel available. During the
MOC process, there were no transparent offers or bids on FOB Korea and FOB
