Thailand exports MTBE to Singapore for two straight months in Dec 92 RON up 0.09%; crude down 0.77%



Asian MTBE dropped
$10.35/mt-$10.45/mt on the day to $978.23/mt-$985.50/mt FOB Singapore on
February 8, due to a selloff in March-loading cargoes. Close assessment

$105.40/b-$108.60/b. Meanwhile, the front-month ICE Brent crude oil futures
fell 0.77% to $91.85/b-$91.90/b at 4:30 PM Singapore time (0830 GMT). Due to low demand from China, Thailand exported MTBE twice
in December to Singapore. Enterprise
Singapore data revealed that Thailand exported 2,842 tonnes of MTBE to
Singapore in December. This was a decrease of 6% over the previous month. The December exports were 92% more than the 1,480 mt monthly
