Supply in domestic China tight CFR India premium higher on firm bid




Asian toluene prices remained unchanged at $896/mt FOB
Korea and rose by $1/mt-$5/mt to $929/mt-$930/mt CFR China on February 15. Spot prices in China rose to Yuan 6,870-6,890/mt, for prompt
delivery. However, they fell to Yuan 6,830-6.850/mt, for H2 February delivery.
This was despite limited prompt offers. However, the spot market prices dipped
in the afternoon session due to weak oil prices. Talks were held at Yuan 6,820-6.870/mt to ensure prompt
delivery, and Yuan 6,780-6,810/mt following the 16:30 time window. Upstream, the ICE Brent futures front-line April contract
price was $0.33/bbl. higher at 830 GMT at $94.89/b-99.90/b. CFR India was up $5/mt at $1,020/mt- $1,040/mt. The premium
