India Styrene monomer: CFR India Prices Drop Tracking Crude amid Less Buyer Interest Ex-tank prices fall to Rupees 95/kg / Premium for CFR China markers stable at $35/mt

In the week ending May 23, the Indian styrene markets remained mixed amid falling crude and benzene futures. CFR China's styrene Monomer Marker was $905.50/mt, down $26.50/mt since May 16. This is due to a weakening of the upstream market and stable supplies in the domestic Chinese market. The premium over CFR China has remained constant. The offer levels for India are CFR China plus 38-$40/mt and the buying indications are CFR China plus 30/mt. These levels have remained stable week to week. The styrene Monomer CFR India mark is down $26.50/mt since the last assessment on May 23, which was $940.50/mt.
