Lackluster demand and high inventories impacted the Indian styrene market in the week ending July 4. The weekly styrene Monomer CFR India mark is down $8/mt since the last assessment on July 4, at $944/mt. On July 4, the premium to CFR China dropped by $1/mt compared to last week, at $30/mt. This was based on an offer at CFR China and a purchasing idea plus $30/mt each from a buyer or seller. CFR China's styrene Monomer Marker was up $5/mt per day in other markets on July 4, at $914/mt. During the Market on Close assessment, an offer of CFR China Plus 30/mt was made in the market. Buying indications were received in the lower range of CFR China Plus 20-$30/mt.
