Asian Styrene monomer: Prices unchanged after relatively stable upstream price / Downstream buyer anticipates supply to ease from July H2 SM imports from China are 136% higher than the previous MOM

The styrene Monomer CFR China and FOB Korean markers were $921/mt & $911/mt respectively on June 27. These prices are unchanged since the previous assessment due to relatively stable upstream price. The Asian benzene marker FOB Korea was 2.33/mt higher than the previous day, at $723/mt. was stable on June 27 at $850/mt for the ethylene CFR Northeast Asia mark. The crude oil and naphtha price rose slightly on June 27. The front-month August ICE Brent contract was 46 cents/b more than the previous session, at $68.21/b at the close of Asian markets. While the C+F Japan Naphtha marker increased by $1/mt to $569.75/mt.
