Asian Styrene monomer: Prices remain stable amid China holiday / SM Arbitrage Asia-Europe to be opened in the near future / Brent futures drop $4.60/b DOD

This was coupled with OPEC+announcing late April 3 a hike in oil production from May, farabove market expectations. At the Asian close of April 4, the June ICE Brent futures fell to $68.23/b. This is down $4.60/b from the previous day. Market activity was slow because many traders inNortheast Asia had gone away for the Qingming Festival. China's markets were closed on the 4th of April and will reopen the 7th. In Southeast Asia, one source said that the premium to the CFR China mark should be reduced this week due to a lack of trade. Sources from the same company quoted a tradable indicator of a $20/mt premium to CFR China for CFR Southeast Asia cargoes. Sources have also reported that Vietnam has a spot demand in early May....
