demand for acrylonitrile-butadiene (ABS), was weak. The drop in the prices of
styrene monomers led to ABS prices falling over the past week. Southeast Asia has a very weak demand. On a CFR SE Asia basis, selling indication prices were
around $1500-1540/mt. According to
producers in the region, the fourth quarter demand was still uncertain as
buyers were reluctant to sign contracts due to market uncertainty. Due to the unstable economic environment, producers have
