India Styrene monomer: CFR India falls amid low demand / Ex-tank Offers as Low as Rupees 86.50/kg / Premium to CFR China Marker Stable at $35/mt

In the week leading up to May 9, the Indian styrene market fell due to fluctuating benzene prices and lower domestic prices. The CFR China styrene marker was $860/mt in May 9, down $7/mt compared to May 2. This is due to a slowing domestic market. The premium to CFR China was stable at $35/mt, and the tradable level for India remained unchanged. The offer levels for India remained at CFR China + $40/mt while the buying indications stayed at CFR China + $30/mt. This was consistent week to week. The styrene Monomer CFR India mark is down $7/mt since the last assessment on May 9 at $895/mt.
