The Indian styrene market remained stable for the week ended Nov. 21, with steady spot offers and rising inventory levels. the weekly styrene monomer CFR India marker at $837/metric ton on Nov. 21, up $6/mt from the previous assessment. The premium to CFR China remained unchanged on Nov. 21 at $25/mt, with offers and buying ideas aligned at CFR China plus $25/mt. Offers of CFR China plus $25/mt were heard during the Market on Close assessment process, with buying levels heard around CFR China plus $25 from several Indian buyers. “Spot deals are happening between CFR China plus $15-$25/ mt levels for December arrival shipments.
