The Asian styrene market prices remained
stable with CFR China and FOB Korean rising $10-15/mt each day to $1.485-2.500/mt
and $1.515-2.500/mt, respectively on June 9. In line with ethylbenzene,
the domestic East China market has been strong in recent months. According to market sources, the Dalian Commodity Exchange
has seen a rise in the trading of styrene derivatives. The market was still very quiet on a US dollar basis. The benzene East China domestic markets remained stable and
traded at the Yuan 10,000-10,200/mt low-end for H2 July and second-half June
