Asian isomer-grade mixed xylene dropped $30-35/mt
on the day to $869-890/mt FOB Korea. It was at $888-910/mt CFR Unv1 and was
down $10/mt to $907/mt CFR China Nov. 24, as crude oil futures fell. January ICE Brent crude oil futures dropped
$4.40/b, to $84.70-90.50/b by 0830 GMT in Asian trading. Paraxylene
fell $12-17/mt per day to $943.92-980.50/mt CFR unv1/China. This resulted in
the PXX-MX spread expanding to $74.92-80.50/mt. It was the largest since Oct.
13's $81-86/mt. Prices in China were slightly more stable than
the international market, with December East China ex-tank prices at Yuan
7,560-7570/mt or $912.10-925.50/mt if you consider import parity. According to
customs data, both South Korea and Unv1 saw a decrease in their imports of
