Spot trading in Asia naphtha saw a rise in
activity with new tender sheard in East and South Asia. South Korea's Hanwha
Total issued a purchase tender closing Jan. 6, seeking 25,000 mt of naphtha for
H2 February delivery. The pricing was based on the Mean of Japan naphtha assessments
(CFR). South
Korea's SK Energy is reported to have purchased at least one cargo of 25,000 mt
of heavy-full-range naphtha to be loaded over January 24-26 at a premium of between
$18 and $19.50 to the MOPJ Naphtha Assessments, CFR. The pricing was based on
