Chemical delays PDH unit restart to H1March

According to company sources, Asian
propylene markets remained stable in February 22nd amid thin trading. This is
due to the fact that China's Tianjin bohai Chemical plans to delay the start of
its propane hydrogenation unit until March 1st. 28 was planned earlier, after the facility's
shutdown on January 11. A company source stated that Tianjin Bohai Chemical in
China plans to delay the restart of its propane dehydrogenation unit to the
first half of March. This is a delay from February. Propylene,
which is used as a feedstock for 2-EH or butanol, remained in operation after
the PDH unit was shutting down. The propylene price was unchanged at $1,000-1,040/mt
