Asian toluene was valued at $5-6/mt higher
at $1,001.50-1,040.50/mt FOB Korea on Aug. 29, and at $977-990/mt CFR China at
$977-990/mt CFR China at $877-900/mt CFR China Aug. 29, amid firmer crude oil
and increased demand for H2 September-loading cargoes. According to a source,
prices are expected to rise with FOB Korea bids at $1,015-1,050/mt, and close
to $1,005-1,040/mt on the H2 September shipment. India ex-tank Kandla talks remained more firm at Rupees
102-153/kg, while Mumbai port offers were heard at Rupees 110/kg levels due to
tight port inventories and the active search by importers for replacement
cargoes. Market players expect buying
sentiments will improve in the next month due to post-monsoon and pre–Diwali
