Asian FOB Singapore MTBE is up $5.43/mt on
day at $830.83/mt December 15. This is due to crude oil prices rising for three
consecutive day. During the Market on Close
evaluation process Dec. 15, no bids or offers were received, keeping the factor
at 1.148. In light of a better global demand outlook,
February ICE Brent Futures rose $1.44/mt on the day to $81.98/mt Dec. 15. According
to a trader, market players anticipate more spot deals in 2023 because many
traders avoid contract terms due to the unpredictable nature of the market. A second
