- Southeast Asia buyers are looking to import Oct cargoes- India's July Toluene Imports Rise 222.6% Compared to
the Year



Prices of Asian toluene rose due to the
higher prices and tight supply, which led to a rise in crude futures prices. According to industry
sources, buyers from Southeast Asia were looking for October cargoes. However,
few sellers were available. Sources added
that buying indications in Vietnam were below $1,000-1,040/mt and in CFR
Indonesia, they were between $1,000-$1,050/mt. There were no trades or sellers. The FOB Korea marker was $940-960/mt up $5-6/mt over the
intraday level. This was due to the fact that crude futures were higher than
the downstream markets and lacked spot discussions. The CFR China marker was $983-10,000/mt up $5-6/mt over the
