With lower inventories among the end users,
support was given to the propylene market Nov. 21. The January ICE Brent crude oils futures
contract fell $2.93/b from its previous Asian close of $87.03/b at 0830 GMT. Low
inventories at some buyers meant that the drop in crude oil did not have an
impact on propylene. An end-user in China stated that the inventory
of some end-users was low and there were no other issues. Shandong
propylene was reportedly heard at Yuan 7,300-7,380/mt excank Nov. 21, an
increase of Yuan 100-150/mt over Nov. 18. China's
Shandong Haijiang Chemical delayed the start of its 130,000 mt/year
