the week ending February 3, Asian solvent-mixedxylenes prices varied, mostly due
to weaker crude oil futures. The decline in South Korea and China's prices
was led by a weaker crude oil futures, while the marker rose due to increased
demand from Southeast Asia. Due to weak trades, Indian prices fell
marginally. Sources said that FOB Korea indicative prices were being
discussed and tradable between $880 and $890/mt. The market was not open
to firm offers or bidding. No trades occurred. According to broking
sources, the Chinese domestic xylenes market was lower in Jiangsu due to thin spot
discussions. Sources said that the prompt ex-tank east China marketplace
was open to bids from Yuan 7,050/mt...
