The Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) CFR China marker at $1,370/mt April 9, down $10/mt from the last assessment, and in line with a tradeable indication heard at $1,370-$1,380/mt. CFR Southeast Asia at $1,390/mt on April 9, down by $10/mt compared to the previous assessment and taking into account an offer of plus $20/mt compared to the CFR China mark. Despite the fact that upstream SM has fallen to new lows in recent days, a Chinese producer said "ABS offers have been relatively steady." No one will buy even if the offers are reduced. We are willing to continue discussions, if specific orders are received.
